Privacy policy
Last updated October 10, 2026.
This policy explains what information Unscramble Daily ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, and how it is used. The short version: the tools run in your browser, we do not ask for an account, and we do not sell personal information.
Information you type into the tools
Letters, words and answer patterns you type into the unscrambler, jumble solver and daily game are processed on your own device. They are not sent to our server.
Information stored on your device
We use your browser's local storage to remember your jumble solver progress and your daily game progress, stats and streak. This data stays on your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data. The site works without it.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not collect personal information such as your name or email. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Advertising
We may show ads to keep the site free. If we do, ads are provided by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Where required by law, for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.
If you email us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to read and reply to you, we do not add you to any mailing list, and we delete old messages when they are no longer needed.
Links to other sites
Word definitions link to Merriam-Webster, and some pages link to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.
Children
This site is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not collect personal information directly, most requests can be handled by clearing your browser data. For anything else, contact us using the details below.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
